RESEARCH MANAGER
ASAP start for 1 year +
ABC are recruiting for a Research Manager to coordinate and manage all our research and conservation programmes and the team in Malawi across our field sites according to need. We are conducting a straw coloured project, slit faced bat tracking project, Mops urban bat project this coming year and need as much assistance as we can get!The role includes harp trapping, mist netting, acoustic recording and roost surveying, and potentially radio tracking. This will require field work at night and in the day and the candidate must be willing to work and be based in remote environments and work according to demand.
The post offers an excellent opportunity for career development for a researcher who is interested in applied conservation biology, bats and human-wildlife conflict.
We provide a $650 per month stipend, accommodation, camp food when on site, visas and access to a project vehicle during your post.
