CRA is proud to be hosting the first Rufford Conservation Conference in Malawi in from the 11th to 13th July 2019!
The conference aims to bring together conservation researchers and practitioners from across Africa to share experiences and develop international collaborations and networking opportunities.
BURSARIES FOR ATTENDANCE!
Thanks to support from the Rufford Foundation we have been able to offer bursaries for attendance including accommodation, conference fee, food to 17 attendees. We do have some bursaries for attendance without accommodation remaining. Click the links on the right to apply.

Submit your abstract for a poster or presentation;

Apply for a Rufford Foundation conference bursary;

Book your travel; and invite a colleague to attend!

Return your completed form to ruffordconferencemalawi@conservationresearchafrica.org asap.
The earlier you apply and pay the cheaper it is!
APPLY FOR A BURSARY TO ATTEND
Thanks to support from the Rufford Foundation we are able to offer a limited number of bursaries to support attendance at the conference for a those giving oral presentations. You are expected to be the lead author and presenter.
Costs include conference package, accommodation and food at the conference venue Kumbali Lodge.
Bursaries are only offered to those who are giving oral presentations at the conference. To apply for support please complete and return the support application form which is downloadable from the links on the right.
Forms must be emailed to ruffordconferencemalawi@conservationresearchafrica.org asap along with a completed Abstract Submission form to be considered for support.
Applicants are expected to cover the costs of their travel to the conference.
